Discovery Call (15 Minutes)

- Warm Welcome: Introduce yourself, highlighting your background and experience in relationship counseling.
- Purpose of the Call: Explain that this call is to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the counseling process is tailored to their situation.
3:00 - 7:00 | Exploring Relationship Challenges
- Current Concerns: Ask clients to share the main issues they're facing in their relationship. Encourage both partners to express their perspectives.
- Emotional Triggers: Identify any recurring conflicts or specific triggers that escalate issues. Note how each partner reacts in these situations.
7:00 - 10:00 | Identifying Patterns
10:00 - 13:00 | Assessing Readiness for Change
- Willingness to Engage: Assess each partner’s readiness to engage in counseling. Are they both committed to making changes?
- Goal Setting: Ask what they hope to achieve through counseling. Set initial goals, such as improving communication or resolving specific conflicts.
13:00 - 15:00 | Next Steps
- Scheduling: Discuss availability and schedule the full Onboarding Call.
- Homework: Suggest a brief exercise, such as observing and noting down instances where they feel like a Victim, Persecutor, or Rescuer.
